 All the Trimmings...
The ephemera that goes into making a holiday festive are pieces of the overall tradition itself. I recently helped my parents decorate their tree and every ornament that came out of the storage bin had a story connected to it. That's why Christmas designs are so important. They don't just get retired after one season. They will appear again and again as part of the tapestry of the holiday. Ornaments especially become honored pieces of history that are passed down through generations. Perhaps this is part of the reason that the marketplace is enjoying renewed popularity of the classic glass ornament. We examine this trend in this issue of SCDirect.
